MONTPELIER, Vt. - Protestors with the group - "Rising Tide Vermont"- lined the lawn in front of the Public Service Department in Montpelier Monday.
Their goal - to stop the creation of the Vermont Gas 41 mile pipeline extension.
The protestors gathered to deliver a message to the department of Public Service Commissioner Chris Recchia.
"We think the process should work for people and the planet. And right now it's just being rubber stamped on behalf of the industry, and we are here to say that's not okay," said Keith Brunner with Rising Tide Vermont.
